Banswara : Bhil Pradesh Mukti Morcha’s cultural mega rally was held on Thursday at Mangarh Dham. It was claimed that about one lakh tribal people participated in it. 40 speakers raised the demand for the creation of Bhil Pradesh in one voice in the rally. Banswara-Dungarpur MP Rajkumar Roat said that till now we have been taught wrongly. Our 1500 ancestors who were martyred at Mangarh Dham had come here to prepare the outline of Bhil Pradesh. The religious gathering was an excuse, otherwise what did the British have to do with our religion. The demand for Bhil Pradesh has been going on since then.
The speakers said that Mocho has 4 MLAs and one MP. However, only one MP and one MLA attended the rally. This time an attempt was made to make the rally completely hi-tech. Security guards equipped with walkie-talkies in tribal attire were deployed at all the places where police was present. They were looking after crowd control as well as parking and other arrangements.
