Dausa : Dausa Police took major action before the by-elections to be held on 7 seats in Rajasthan. The police was checking vehicles at around 10.30 pm in front of Bhandarej Mode block of Sadar police station area. Police recovered a bag full of notes from the Brezza Kara of a Jhunjhunu businessman. The car was Haryana number. The businessman was going from Jaipur towards Gurugram.
Rs 1 crore 96 lakh recovered in the bag
Deputy SP Ravi Prakash said that in view of the assembly by-elections, the police administration was checking four-wheelers by blocking them in Dausa district. A bag containing wads of notes was recovered from the Brezza vehicle. Police got videography done. There were Rs 1 crore 96 lakh 50 thousand in the bag.
Income Tax Department team seized the money
The police took the car to Sadar police station. After investigation the amount was confiscated. The Income Tax Department was informed about this. The Income Tax Department team from Jaipur seized the money. The police and Income Tax Department team is investigating the matter. The businessman could not give a clear answer.
There were three people in the car, could not give information about money
CO Raviprakash Sharma told that three people were present in the car. The people traveling in the car could not give correct information about this amount. He has been asked to tell the amount of the property. Police seized the Haryana number Brezza car. There is talk of detaining the businessman in the car.
Income Tax Department team arrived from Jaipur
