Jaipur : Ramuram Raika, the then member of RPSC, had handed over the paper to his son Devesh and daughter Shobha seven days before the written examination of sub-inspector recruitment. Raika had taken this paper from another member of RPSC, Babulal Katara. ADG VK Singh said that Katara has been in jail since April 2023 on charges of leaking the paper of senior teacher recruitment examination.
SOG will ask for Katara’s remand
SOG arrested him from jail on Monday for interrogation. The police team led by Ram Singh, in-charge of Anti Cheating Cell, is interrogating both the then members face to face. SOG will present Katara today for remand. SOG is also investigating how Babulal Katara got the paper. What responsibility did he have related to the paper. SOG ADG Vijay Kumar Singh has claimed that evidence about Raika’s son and daughter was found two months ago. After confirming the evidence, he was taken into custody for interrogation. His father Ramuram Raika has been arrested only after interrogation.
