Jaipur : In the recruitment for the post of Sub Inspector in Rajasthan Police in 2021, there was such rigging and setting that the candidates who appeared for the exam had received the paper before the Chairman of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) had received the paper. . This shocking revelation has been made in the charge sheet of SOG probing the SI paper leak case. Actually, SOG had presented the charge sheet on October 29 against 20 accused in the SI recruitment exam paper leak case. SOG has made big revelations in the charge sheet. According to the charge sheet of SOG, the role of everyone from the then Chairman of Rajasthan Public Service Commission Sanjay Kshotriya to its members Manju Sharma, Sangeeta Arya, Jaswant Rathi is suspicious in this entire matter. All these have benefited the sons and daughters of Ramu Ram Raika.
Shobha and Devesh had got the paper before RPSC Chairman.
According to the chargesheet of SOG, the paper was provided to Ramu Ram Raika by Babulal Katara. Babulal Katara was given the responsibility of preparing question papers for the written examination of SI recruitment examination by the then Chairman Bhupendra Singh in the month of March. Bhupendra Singh was the chairman of the commission from October 2020 to December 1, 2021. Earlier this examination was to be conducted in one day, hence Babulal Katara had prepared two sets of first paper and second paper.
Later it was decided to conduct the examination for three days. For this, orders were given to Babulal Katara to take one additional set of both the papers from Manju Sharma. Babulal also took this set. He kept all 3 sets in his cupboard.
In the second week of August, he allowed Ramu Ram Raika to take photographs of all the question sets and their answer keys. After taking the photo, Ramu Ram Raika wrote all the questions in the register and gave it to his son and daughter. After this, Babulal Katara handed over this question paper and answer key in a sealed envelope to the then Chairman. Thus, in the investigation of SOG, it has been revealed that Devesh and Shobha Raika had already received the question paper from the Chairman of the Commission. However, there is no record available of Babulal Katara taking the set of question papers from Manju Sharma and Manju giving the set to Katara. SOG has also sought information in this regard.
Meeting with chairman and members to ensure good marks in interview for son and daughter
Ramu Ram Raika met the then Chairman Sanjay Kshotriya, members Manju Sharma, Sangeeta Arya, Jaswant Rathi to get his daughter Shobha Raika good marks in the interview. Because the chairman decides the members of the interview board, he had met Sanjay Kshotriya. Later Shobha Raika came to the interview board of Babulal Katara. Babulal Katara gave her 34 marks. To avoid any confusion, Ramu Ram Raika had shown Shobha’s photo to Babulal Katara and said that Shobha would come for the interview in this dress. For Devesh’s interview also he met Sanjay Kshotriya, Manju Sharma, Sangeeta Arya and talked to Jaswant Rathi on phone. Sanjay Kshotriya took him in his board and gave 28 marks to Devesh.
CDR revealed, Babulal and Ramu Ram Raika were in constant contact.
SOG got the CDR of the phones of Babulal Katara and Ramu Ram Raika extracted. It has become clear in the investigation that both of them were in constant contact with each other. SOG has also seized many phones during the investigation. They have also been sent for investigation. According to the charge sheet, all the accused have confessed to their crime during interrogation. To prove himself clean, Ramu Ram Raika had told the commission about Devesh appearing in the examination and had kept himself away from the process. But he had not informed about his daughter appearing in the examination.
Chairman, members and employees of the commission are also under investigation.
It is clear from the charge sheet that the role of the then Commission Chairman Sanjay Kshotriya, members Manju Sharma, Sangeeta Arya, Jaswant Rathi, Deputy Secretary Chanara Ram Solanki in this entire matter is under suspicion. Now it remains to be seen what kind of action SOG takes against them.
