Jaipur : There is turmoil in Rajasthan over the new districts created by the previous Gehlot government. The Bhajanlal government has formed a sub-committee to review these districts. In this sequence, Congress MLA from Gangapur City, Ramkesh Meena has accused the Bhajanlal government that the government has stopped the development of new districts by forming a sub-committee in the name of review. Congress MLA Ramkesh Meena said in the budget session of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Monday that it was expected that there would be an announcement in the budget for the development of new districts, but nothing was done. The development of new districts has been stopped by forming a sub-committee in the name of review.
Districts were formed on the recommendation of Ram Lubhaya Committee
In the previous Congress government, 17 districts and three divisions were created on the basis of the recommendation of retired IAS Ramlubhaya Committee. Now, after coming to power, the BJP has formed a cabinet sub-committee to review the new districts. The committee will submit its report and suggestions for administrative jurisdiction, smooth functioning, administrative requirement, availability of financial resources in these districts and divisions.
