If we look at the data of last three years in Bikaner range, 147 kg 952 grams of heroin has been seized. Its market value is estimated to be around Rs 200 crore.

26 kg 688 grams of heroin has been seized in the year 2022, 49.967 grams in the year 2023 and 71 kg 297 grams of heroin has been seized so far this year. Every year both the cases and quantity of heroin trafficking are increasing. There were seven cases of drone drugs dropping in the year 2022. 15 cases have been reported in the year 2023 and 19 cases have been reported this year. The biggest reason for smuggling is that the international border is 396 kilometers in the Bikaner range. Out of this, 90 km border is of Sri Ganganagar, 164 km border of Anupgarh and 142 km border of Bikaner district. It also adjoins Bahawalpur area of ​​Pakistan. Most of the drugs come from Pakistan.

Bikaner Range Police is alert about drug smuggling through drones in the border areas of Pakistan and Punjab. Bikaner Range Police is in touch with Punjab and Haryana Police. Police are investigating where the heroin is coming from and where and to whom it is going. Bikaner Range Police Inspector General Omprakash has also issued a supervisory note to the police officers of the four districts.
