Bikaner : Bikaner The time table of half yearly exam of classes 9 to 12 in Rajasthan government and private schools associated with the education department has been changed within 24 hours. In the time table released a day ago, the exams were to start from December 17 and continue till December 27. In such a situation, it was decided to cancel the winter holidays. Now the government has decided to conduct the exam from 14th December to 24th December only by making changes in the time table. In such a situation, the hope of winter vacations starting once again from December 25 has been waned. The Director of Secondary Education has digitally signed the order in this regard at 7 pm on Thursday. According to the revised schedule, the written examination will start on December 14 and will continue till December 24. Whereas practical exams in schools will be held on 12th December and 13th December.
Confusion continues over winter vacation
Even after changing the exam dates, confusion regarding winter vacations still persists. If the exams are being completed by 24th December then winter vacations can start from 25th December. The government always starts winter holidays from 25th December and the holiday lasts till 1st January. After this, when winter intensifies, it is amended and the holidays are extended. To avoid this, Education Minister Madan Dilawar had talked about taking holidays only when winter increases.
Earlier similar examination was held at district level
Till now, the same examination was conducted at the district level, for which the responsibility was assigned to one school in the district. Papers were also prepared and published at the district level. But, now the exam will be conducted with the same paper in the entire state. In such a situation, paper printing work will also be done through the same firm.
Papers will not be kept in private schools
In the order issued by Director of Secondary Education Ashish Modi, it has been said that keeping in mind the security of the question papers, the papers will not be kept in any private school. These papers will remain in the government school, from where all the private schools will have to collect them on time. If there is doubt about security even in a government school, then the papers can be kept in the concerned police station.
Fee of Rs 20 from every student
A fee of Rs 20 will be charged from each student for the half-yearly exam. Apart from this, fees for annual exam can also be taken together. The Joint Director will collect these fees through the previously constituted Common Examination Steering Committee and deposit them in the account of the Registrar Education Departmental Examination.
