Bikaner dengue breaks four year record, 1225 cases positive so far this year

Bikaner : Bikaner Dengue has broken the record of four years this time. In these 11 months, 1225 positivity cases have been reported in PBM Hospital. A total of five patients have died. 17 new patients have been admitted on Sunday. Winter has knocked, but the crowd of patients suffering from viral fever in the medicine OPD of PBM Hospital has not reduced yet. 800 to 1000 patients are coming every day, out of which patients with thrombocytopenia viral have to be admitted. Dengue positive reports are coming in the investigation of these patients. Of the 352 patients tested for dengue in PBM on Sunday, 17 cases were found positive.

However, the number of positive patients has declined after Diwali. The reason for this is believed to be the onset of winter. Experts believe that as winter increases, there will be relief from dengue as well. The cases will reduce, whereas in the months of September and October, 20 to 46 positive cases have been reported in a single day. The ward of dengue patients in the MCH building is also full at present. All 50 beds are full. General patients of viral fever are being kept in the wards of seasonal diseases. Patients who test dengue positive are being shifted to MCH. The patients are being discharged when the reports are normal. This time due to dengue, cases of heart problems, seizures, repeated fainting and meningitis have also been reported. On the other hand, according to the report of CMHOs, the number of dengue positive patients in the district is 887. This time the maximum number of cases of thrombocytopenia viral have been reported in PBM Hospital. These people are getting dengue positive reports.
