Bikaner : Dhingsari is a village of Nokha in Bikaner with a population of 4000. 14 daughters here aged between 12 to 16 years are footballers. Of these, 11 daughters were also members of the team that won the National Championship in August. One of them is Manju Rajput. Daughter of an ordinary farmer. Just 3 years ago, a coach took Manju out of her home and brought her to the football field. Convinced the family. She played and became a footballer at a young age. Manju is mentioned here because she has been selected for international training by Germany’s second largest football club. This 15 year old daughter of the village will now go to Germany between 7th to 18th February. There she will undergo training from an international coach for 10 days. Sponsor has also been decided for its expenses.

8-9 hours of hard work: Manju told that coach Vikram Singh Rajvi took the initiative three years ago that he would take the girls of the village forward. Talked to each house, took small girls out of the house. Today, even in the sand, we are working hard under his leadership. Manju told that she practices from 5 to 10:30 in the morning and then from 3 to 6 in the evening. Chief Minister became mediator: Actually, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma had gone to Germany last month in connection with Rising Rajasthan. There, the team members of DFB Pokal Germany i.e. Deutscher Futbol Bund (German Football Association) along with senior advisor Kaushik Maulik met him. CM invited him to come to Jaipur. Maulik came to Jaipur. Met the CM. It was decided that we would do something for the daughters here. Later Julia Farr, head of the Asia Pacific Club of the association, came to Jaipur. All these 14 daughters were called to Jaipur and given two days training cum workshop.
Here the DFB decided to promote Manju after seeing the team spirit, playing technique and style of keeping an eye on the ball. Julia told that Manju has immense potential, which can be prepared at the international level. Julia is the coach of Germany’s second largest and oldest club, Borussia Dortmund Club. After Manju’s selection, the problem of who would take responsibility for her entire expenses came to the fore. Krishna Bihari Goyal of Dwarka Jewellers, who had gone to Germany on delegation with the CM, immediately took responsibility for this. Krishna Bihari’s son Navindra Goyal said that it is our responsibility to promote sports tourism, promote Rajasthan’s exports and take these daughters forward for women empowerment.
