Bikaner: Heroin came from Pakistan a year ago, five people arrested so far

Bikaner : Bikaner About a year ago, Indian smugglers ordered a consignment of heroin from Pakistan. This consignment was dropped with the help of a drone in a field in Rohi, a border village of 10 BD on the Indian border. Which did not fall into the hands of smugglers. Later, he was found by two youths who were driving a combine for harvesting crops in the field. Both of them got greedy and in order to earn big money, they started searching for a buyer of heroin. Two days ago, while going to deliver 820 grams of heroin, the police caught a part of it. After interrogating the arrested people, the police recovered the remaining 986 grams of heroin. Police have arrested a total of five people in both the cases. Among them, two are the main accused, one is a heroin buyer and two are his associates.

Interrogating five accused

Deputy Superintendent of Police Amarjeet Chawla said that the two accused arrested first and the main accused Hardeep, Harjindra and Sachin Bishnoi who were arrested later are being interrogated. The accused arrested on Sunday will be presented in the court on Monday and their remand will be sought.

BSF also active since two days

According to sources, the informer passed the information about heroin to the police instead of the Border Security Force. After this, as soon as the police became active, BSF also became active. DCG Mahesh Chand Jat and Inspector Tara Chand of BSF’s intelligence wing along with the team were engaged in investigation through informers in Khajuwala border area. But before BSF, the police recovered the heroin.

On this, the Range Inspector General and Superintendent of Police sent the District Special Team (DST) along with Khajuwala circle officer Amarjeet Chawla and Khajuwala police station Jabta for action. Actually, word reached the police informer that Harjinder Singh alias Lala and Hardeep alias Pradeep, residents of 10 BD, were searching for the buyer of heroin. Will give commission to the seller. The informant, posing as the buyer, confirmed this and informed the police officials.
