Bikaner Lalgarh ROB construction work may start this month, tender approved

Bikaner : now the people of Bikaner will get it. The file pending with Deputy CM Diya Kumari for the construction of Lalgarh ROB has been approved. Now work will start again by the end of this month. Now Bikaner RSRDC has to issue work order and start the work. Its work was stopped for more than one and a half years. Whenever the construction work got stuck, the issue was raised. A few days ago, the issue of the file stuck with the minister was published several times.

Actually, ROB was to be constructed at a cost of Rs 83 crore. About 300 meters of work is still left in the construction of the 830 meter long ROB. The work on the overbridge started around 2017 with the approval of former CM Vasundhara Raje. This is the route where the vehicles coming from Pugal and Khajuwala come to Mandi or it was easier for the vehicles to go like Jodhpur-Jaipur Bypass and Sriganganagar Road. It was to be completed by December 2020 but due to Corona, the work stopped for some time. Remained. It was put on hold by the court in early 2023 due to a land dispute. The stay was also lifted from the court 3 months ago because the related land issue was settled jointly by UIT and RSRDC. But the file of tender approval was stuck with the minister for 3 months.

A tender worth Rs 29 crore was made in February. If the work did not start by August, the tender was going to be time barred, hence its tenure was extended by one month but till then the stay had not been lifted by the court. When the ban was lifted, the time for expansion was over. For this reason, minister’s approval was required for approval. Finally now the minister has given the approval. Now there is every possibility that the work will start by the end of this month.

RSRDC will also get work done from UIT

RSRDC has the responsibility of constructing ROB as well as constructing roads under the bridge. RSRDC will get this work done through UIT. Along with the construction of ROB, UIT will also build a road under the bridge. UIT will get the work done and payment will be made by RSRDC.

Understand, how ROB was not completed even in 7 years
