These miscreants had opened fire on a car in Kotgate police station area on Wednesday, after which police station officer Manoj Sharma and his team arrested five youths. In this incident, a young man named Sohail was shot in the chest, who is undergoing treatment at the Trauma Center of PBM Hospital. Among the miscreants caught by the police, Chetan Singh was arrested for illegal possession of weapons. Chetan Singh is just a 21 year old young man who lives near Bhavani Hotel Gangashahar. Apart from this, Sawai Singh alias Babu Singh and Musharraf Sameja were arrested for firing on Sohail.

All three were brought for production from Coatgate in the afternoon. Usually the accused are brought in a police vehicle but these three were brought from Coatgate police station to the court on foot. During this time, they were brought from KEM Road to Public Park via Sankhla Gate. From here he was presented in the court. In the court, the police asked for remand for three days and said that recovery is yet to be done. On this the court gave a remand order of three days to the police. In such a situation, all three were taken back to Kotgate police station.
