Bikaner : Bikaner The slow pace of filling the application form for Safai Karmachari recruitment is at its peak. Even after extending the last date for filling the application form, the speed of filling the application form is not increasing. In this, the experience certificate issued by the corporation has become a hurdle. Due to the slow pace being taken by the corporation in issuing the experience certificates, only 68 experience certificates have been issued till Monday evening. Whereas the last date of application is 20th November. Not only this, the number of applications for obtaining experience certificate is also less till now. It is being told that till now the Corporation has received only 470 applications from those who have sought experience certificate. If the situation remains the same, then there is doubt over the issuance of experience certificates even for half the number of posts available till the last date of application.
Date extended, number of applications did not increase
In the release issued for Safai Karmachari recruitment, earlier the last date for filling the application form was fixed as 6th November. Due to less applications, the state government has extended the last date for filling the application form till November 20. Even after giving extra days to fill the application form, the pace of applications is still slow. The situation in the corporation is such that not even ten percent of the experience certificates for the sanctioned posts have been issued.
Recruitment for 1037 posts in the corporation
In the Safai Karmachari Recruitment, 1047 posts are to be filled in Bikaner Municipal Corporation. The process of filling the application form for this is going on. In the district, recruitment is to be done on 46 posts in Municipality Deshnok, 102 in Municipality Nokha and 247 in Municipality Sridungargarh.
Disappointment among applicants
There is disappointment among the cleaning workers who have been doing cleaning work through the firms contracted by the corporation in the past years due to not being issued experience certificates. Despite the cleaning work of the corporation, there is a hurdle in issuing the experience certificate due to lack of proof of PF, ESI deduction, monthly payment in the employee’s account etc. People of Safai Karmachari Sangathan and Valmiki Samaj are continuously demanding from the state government to remove the complexity of experience certificate in filling the application form.
