Bikaner : Bikaner Due to adjustment of surplus teachers in the middle of the education session, on one hand the student-teacher ratio has deteriorated in many schools of the district. On the other hand, the teaching system in some schools is also being affected. Due to shortage of teachers, the half-yearly examinations starting from December 14 have also become a crisis. It is not clear who will conduct the examinations in schools where there is only one teacher left. On the other hand, the teachers whose adjustment has been done bypassing the guidelines are now waiting for the revised orders. This adjustment has created the biggest problem in newly upgraded schools. But three-four third grade teachers already working here have been adjusted in other schools in the name of surplus. Now only four teachers are working in these schools. The same classes are being conducted till class 12th.
