Bikaner News Desk: Amidst the increasing number of thefts in Bikaner, Gajner Police has exposed a theft that took place in broad daylight in the town. A twenty-four year old youth has been arrested, from whom stolen goods have also been recovered. This young man is suspected to be involved in some more thefts. According to the police, Amjad Khan, living in Ambedkar Colony, Bikaner, has been arrested. Amjad Khan had committed theft in broad daylight in a shop in Gajner. Along with cash, some items were also taken out from here. It is feared that Amjad may be involved in some thefts not only in Gajner but also in Bikaner urban area. On this basis he is currently being interrogated. At present, the police has uncovered only the theft in Gajner, but during investigation, the secret may be revealed about some more thefts.
Gajner police station in-charge Rakesh Swami, ASI Bhagwanaram, constables Ramkumar and Kherajram were involved in this action. On the basis of information and CCTV footage, police have arrested Amjad. On the other hand, businessmen of Gajner have praised the police for the revelation in this matter. Actually, there was panic among the traders due to theft in the shop in broad daylight.
