Hanumangarh : Bike rider Patwari was seriously injured after being hit by a pickup in Pallu police station area of Hanumangarh. The injured Patwari is undergoing treatment in the Government District Hospital. In this regard, a case has been registered against the pickup driver at Pallu police station.
According to the police, Ramesh Kumar (35), son of Sadhuram Meghwal, resident of Chak 4 CYM, Tehsil Rawatsar, while presenting the written report, said that his nephew Ashok Kumar son of Prem Kumar Meghwal, resident of Chak 4 CYM, who is working on the post of Patwari in Bhanipura tehsil. He was going from Chak 4 CYM to Bhanipura on bike number RJ 49 SG 1434 at the prescribed speed at around 1-2 pm on Sunday afternoon. Before Pallu Toll Plaza, near Om Banna Hotel, a pickup came at high speed from the front and hit Ashok Kumar’s bike.
The pickup driver fled from the spot after the collision. His nephew Ashok Kumar suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was taken to Pallu’s health center. From here the doctors referred him to Hanumangarh. On this his nephew was admitted to the Government District Hospital of Hanumangarh Town. The police have registered a case against the unknown pickup driver and handed over the investigation to head constable Shravan Kumar.
