Barmer : Ramsar District Collector Tina Dabi conducted a surprise inspection of the community center located at Ramsar on Wednesday. As soon as the information about the arrival of the District Collector was received, the CHC personnel immediately set fire to the biowaste dumped in the open in the CHC premises. SDM Ramsar Anil Kumar said that throwing and burning biowaste in the open is a serious matter. A vehicle for biowaste has been arranged by the Medical Department, Barmer. In which the biowaste of all the PSCs and CHCs of the subdivision area is collected and taken to the biowaste plant located in Barmer. Where there is a system for its disposal.
If this is not being done then action will be taken against the concerned officials. District Collector Tina Dabi inspected the doctor’s room, dressing room, medicine distribution room, labor room and wards in the CHC. He instructed to keep the hospital premises clean and keep the dustbins covered. Also took information about available medicine stock. Doctors and other staff of the hospital were present on this occasion. The District Collector instructed the officials to dispose of the pending files quickly. The District Collector inspected the Sub Divisional Officer office, Tehsil located at Ramsar.
