Bisalpur Dam is on the verge of filling up, inflow continues

Jaipur : The rainy season continues in the state. Meanwhile, good news is coming from Bisalpur. The inflow of water in Bisalpur is increasing continuously. Bisalpur, which is called the lifeline of Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Dausa and Tonk districts, has now reached close to its filling capacity. Crores of people will benefit from this. The water level in Bisalpur dam has crossed 314.82 RLM. Whereas the filling capacity of Bisalpur is 315.50 RL meter.

In such a situation, the Bisalpur dam will now overflow soon. The Triveni river, which fills the Bisalpur dam, is in spate on Wednesday. The gauge of Triveni river on Kota road in Bhilwara district is running at 3.30 meters in the morning. Due to good rains and the overflowing of the Gambhiri dam in Chittorgarh, there is a constant inflow of water in Triveni. Water of Banas and Bedach rivers is also coming into Triveni. The water of Triveni is going into Bisalpur dam. The ghats of the temple located on the banks of Triveni river are also submerged in water. For the second time in this season, the gauge of Triveni river has reached 3.50 meters. The sheet of Kothari dam is also running at 10 centimetres.
