Bishnoi, the accused who helped in making fake degrees, was caught by SOG in Ajmer

Ajmer : The crackdown on candidates who have obtained fake degrees to appear in the Senior Teacher Recruitment Exam conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is continuing. Ajmer SOG team took action in this regard on Wednesday evening and arrested 31-year-old Mahendra Singh Bishnoi, a resident of Jalore.

Helped in getting fake MA degree

ASP Mukesh Soni of Ajmer SOG unit said that some time ago, Kamla Kumari and her brother Dalpat Singh were arrested from Mewar University located in Gangarar, who along with others had obtained a fake MA Hindi degree. During interrogation, they told that Mahendra Singh Bishnoi had helped them in getting the fake degree. Since then, the search for him was on. On Wednesday evening, we got information about his being in Ajmer, after which the accused was arrested by late evening.

I also gave the exam as a dummy candidate

Earlier also, Mahendra Singh Bishnoi was caught giving the Primary School Teacher Level 1 Direct Recruitment Examination 2022 conducted by Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) as a dummy candidate in place of accused Dalpat Singh’s brother Om Prakash Bishnoi. At that time, a case was registered in Jhotwara police station and a challan was presented in the court against Mahendra Singh Bishnoi.

More than 6 arrests have been made so far

According to ASP Soni, more than half a dozen accused have been arrested in the case of providing fake degree to a female candidate. On July 14, Manohar Lal, posted as librarian in Government Higher Secondary School Jhanj in Sanchore district, was arrested and was produced before the court on Wednesday. More new arrests may be made in this case.
