Tonk : Counting of votes for Khinvsar Assembly by-election will begin. First the votes from the ballot box will be counted. Voting was held on November 13 for by-elections on seven assembly seats in Rajasthan. Now the results of these seven seats are being eagerly awaited. By-elections have been held on Dausa, Deoli Uniara, Jhunjhunu, Khinvsar, Ramgarh, Chaurasi and Salumber assembly seats of the state. The reputation and politics of many veterans are at stake on these seven assembly seats. Khinvsar assembly seat is one of these. Where the competition is triangular. Actually, Khinvsar assembly seat was the seat of Hanuman Beniwal. But in the by-election, along with Hanuman Beniwal’s RLP, BJP and Congress have also put forward a strong claim on this seat, due to which the contest here has become interesting. Earlier, Hanuman Beniwal has been contesting elections sometimes in alliance with BJP and sometimes with Congress. This is the reason why both the reputation and politics of RLP supremo Kanika Beniwal are at stake on Khinvsar seat.
On the Khinvsar seat, Revant Ram Danga is contesting from BJP’s side and Ratan Choudhary has been fielded from Congress’s side. Because of this, it is a tough challenge for Hanuman Beniwal to win. However, Hanuman Beniwal has tried his best to win the Khinvsar seat again. But on the other hand, BJP and Congress also put all their efforts in the campaign.
Congress candidate Ratan Choudhary from Khinvsar is at third place. He got only 1776 votes.
A fierce fight continues between Kanika and Danga. After the seventh round the difference has reduced from 4000 to 2543. Danga got 38681 votes and Kanika Beniwal got 36138 votes.
Even after the sixth round, BJP’s lead continues. Rewant Ram Danga is leading with 4045 votes.
In Khinvsar, Hanuman Beniwal’s wife Kanika Beniwal is trailing by 5118 votes after the fifth round.
Counting will take place in a total of 20 rounds.

Hanuman Beniwal comes from a political family and his legacy is 47 years old. Beniwal’s father Ramdev Beniwal has been MLA twice. In 1977, Ramdev Beniwal won the assembly elections from Mundawa seat on Congress ticket and later in 1985, he became an MLA from Lok Dal. After delimitation in 2008, this seat was made Khinvsar assembly seat and Beniwal reached the assembly for the first time by winning on the election symbol of Bharatiya Janata Party.
