Jhunjhunu : Counting is going on at Jhunjhunu Assembly seat. BJP candidate Rajendra Bhambu is leading by 30845 votes. He has received a total of 61145 votes so far. While Congress candidate Amit Ola got 30300 votes, independent candidate former Rajendra Singh Gudha got 29891 votes. There was 66.14 percent voting in Jhunjhunu seat. Out of 2 lakh 74 thousand 698 voters, 1 lakh 81 thousand 680 had voted. The same 573 voters had done home voting.
CCTV surveillance
Complete monitoring of vote counting is being done through CCTV. For this, 26 cameras have been installed. Three-tier security arrangements have been put in place at the counting venue. Rajasthan Police, RAC and Paramilitary personnel are deployed. District Election Officer Ramavatar Meena said – 100 meter perimeter of the counting venue is a no-vehicle zone. Entry will be given at the counting venue only after showing the admit card. Permission to carry mobiles and electronic gadgets will also be given as per the instructions of the Election Commission. No inflammable substances, matchsticks etc. will be allowed to be carried. The entry of personnel (who have been assigned duty at the counting venue), candidates, counting agents, media persons etc. into the counting venue premises will be stopped at 7 in the morning.
For counting of votes, 250 personnel will be required to count postal ballots, EVMs and ETPBMS.
Result will come after 22 rounds
The postal ballot will be counted first. 10 tables have been set up. And 16 tables have been installed for ETPBS. 12 tables have been installed for EVMs. EVM votes of 12 booths will be counted in each round. Votes from all 263 booths of the Assembly will be counted in 22 rounds. The counting of votes will be completely monitored through CCTV. 26 cameras have been installed for this. Three-tier security arrangements have been put in place at the counting venue. Rajasthan Police, RAC and paramilitary personnel will be deployed. Medical team and fire brigade will also be present.
The counting will start from Postal Ballot/ETPBMS, after half an hour the counting of EVM votes will start. Section 144 will remain in force even after the results are declared. SP Sharad Chaudhary said that there will be a ban on victory procession, joyous firing, DJ, vehicle rally etc. Armed soldiers will be deployed at the counting site. Barricades and pickets have been installed. Big vehicles will not be allowed to go towards the counting venue. Police personnel will be deployed at various places.
3310 service voters, cast 607 votes
There are 3310 service voters in the district. Postal ballots were issued for all of them. But till Friday morning only 607 ballot papers have been received by the election department. District Election Officer Ramavtar Meena said that the ballot papers received till 8 am before the counting of votes starts, can be included in the counting.
There will be parking here
The 100 meter radius of the counting venue is a no-vehicle zone. The parking of vehicles of counting agents and candidates will enter from the main gate in front of the East Stadium of the college and the Agent Education Center building. Parking of vehicles of counting personnel will be in the western stadium of the college. Will enter through the central entrance. There will be parking arrangements for people’s vehicles in the college stadium and ground.

There was 66.14 percent voting in Jhunjhunu seat. Out of 2 lakh 74 thousand 698 voters, 1 lakh 81 thousand 680 had voted. The same 573 voters had done home voting.

Jhunjhunu Assembly by-election, counting of postal ballot papers begins
Counting is about to begin for Jhunjhunu assembly by-election. Counting of votes will start at 8 o’clock. In the presence of the general observer, the lock of the EVM strong room is being opened and videography is being done. Postal ballot paper will be counted first. Counting of EVM machines will take place after about half an hour. The picture will become clear around 12 o’clock. This seat had become vacant after the victory of MP Brijendra Ola.
