BJP candidate’s revelation on not winning, defeat due to Pawar family agreement

Mumbai, November 26 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Ram Shinde has been defeated from Karjat Jamkhed in Maharashtra Assembly elections. He spoke to IANS regarding this on Monday.

The BJP candidate said that he lost by 1,243 votes. In terms of losing by low margins, it comes at number six. Taking aim at the state Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, the BJP leader said that he has publicly said that if he had come to this constituency, his nephew Rohit Pawar would not have won the election, in such a situation, under the family agreement made before the elections, Ajit Pawar has not followed the religion of Mahayuti and has supported his nephew Rohit Pawar.

He further said that today is the second day of losing the elections. I have not expressed anything in the media. Whatever I had to say, I have told it to senior party leaders. It is not appropriate for Ajit Pawar to talk like this from the public sector. There has been a huge conspiracy against me. I have lost the election by a very narrow margin, I have been cheated and I am feeling very sad.

When the parties involved in the Mahayuti alliance were contesting the elections together, on the appeal of Ajit Power to campaign in his constituency, he said that I had requested him many times.

The BJP leader said that Rohit Pawar did not go to Ajit Pawar’s assembly constituency, which means that a family agreement was made from both sides. There is anger among our supporters because of this betrayal. They are crying, not eating and talking about committing suicide. Seeing all this, he did not go among the workers after losing the elections.

On the Chief Minister’s question, he said that in 2014, our leader was Devendra Fadnavis, this government was formed under his leadership. In the year 2019 also he got majority. This time too, under his leadership, BJP has got 132 seats. He is our leader and our party. He is going to become CM in future.
