New Delhi, December 12 (IANS). A delegation of Delhi BJP will meet the Election Commission on Thursday at 4 pm regarding the Delhi Assembly elections 2025. In this meeting, other issues including voter list will be put forward by the BJP delegation.
Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party and BJP are accusing each other of getting the names of voters removed from the voter list. Aam Aadmi Party claims that BJP is conspiring in Delhi to cut people’s votes.
Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has said, “A delegation from Aam Aadmi Party has met the Election Commission. We are grateful to them that at short notice they gave us time to meet.”
Kejriwal alleges that BJP is doing all this deliberately. He said, “BJP is snatching away the rights of the people as an Indian citizen by curtailing their votes in Delhi. Along with snatching the right to vote, they are also snatching away the facilities which are given by the government as voters. BJP people have submitted applications to the Election Commission to get the votes of 11,000 people living in slums. The application for cutting has been submitted to the Election Commission. The Central Election Commission has taken cognizance of our complaints and assured to take action.”
On Kejriwal’s allegations against BJP, Delhi BJP State President Virendra Sachdeva said, “Bharatiya Janata Party is determined that it will not allow even a single fake vote to be cast in this election. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi is accusing honestly working DMs and SDMs of illegal activities.” They are pressurizing us not to vote.”
According to Sachdeva, Kejriwal is scared. He said, Arvind Kejriwal is scared, he is holding the votes of fake votes and illegal Bangladeshi-Rohingya infiltrators in Delhi, these are the votes which are bought with the money of Ford Foundation which donates to AAP. Everyone in the country has the right to express their views, but when people like Kejriwal question the entire constitutional process, then to protect democracy, constitutional institutions should consider such matters seriously.
