BJP engaged in reviewing the reasons for defeat in Jharkhand elections, preparations to fill new energy in the organization

Ranchi, December 1 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party is busy reviewing the reasons for its defeat in the Jharkhand assembly elections. On Saturday and Sunday, the party’s National General Secretary (Organization) BL. Four marathon meetings were held in the presence of Santosh at the party’s state office in Ranchi.

Based on the facts revealed in these meetings, a report will be submitted to the national leadership of BJP, on which a review meeting will be held in New Delhi on December 3 in the presence of party national president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

In the two-day marathon meetings held in Ranchi, the defeated candidates, district presidents of the party, district in-charges and presidents of various fronts told the leadership that the JLKM party was indulging in infiltration of BJP cadre votes in many seats, infiltration of rebels and insurgents at many places. Because of this the election results were unfavorable.

It also came to light in these meetings that the voters were also influenced by the Hemant government sending money to the bank accounts of women under ‘Maiyan Yojana’ just before the elections. The victorious candidates of the party also shared their experiences during the election campaign in the meeting.

National Organization General Secretary BL. Santosh encouraged the party officials, newly elected MLAs and the defeated candidates in the elections and said that this defeat has to be taken as a lesson. After identifying the weaknesses on any front, we need to work with double energy for organizational strengthening and promotion of party policies.

He said that after the meeting to be held on December 3 in New Delhi, the party’s membership campaign in Jharkhand has to be made strategically successful. Membership campaign has been conducted across the country, but due to the election process in Jharkhand, it was postponed for a few months.

Organization General Secretary said that it is a matter of satisfaction that the vote percentage of our party has increased in this election. We have to go to every village and express our gratitude to the voters. Municipal body elections are to be held in the coming days. This election will also prove to be an opportunity to sharpen our organizational strategy.

The review meetings were presided over by State President Babulal Marandi. During this, party’s state in-charge Laxmikant Vajpayee, working state president Dr. Ravindra Rai, regional organization minister Nagendra Nath Tripathi, Jharkhand’s organization general secretary Karmaveer Singh, state vice president Balmukund Sahay and office minister Hemant Das and other officials of the core committee were present.
