BJP government has completely failed in Manipur: Kunal Ghosh

Kolkata, 18 November (IANS). Trinamool Congress Party leader Kunal Ghosh had a special conversation with IANS on Monday.

Regarding the violence that once again broke out in the northeastern state of Manipur, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh said that it is getting very bad and the Prime Minister has not set foot in Manipur even for a minute. The BJP government is a complete failure in this state. People are being murdered there. BJP has no right to rule Manipur. The central government also completely failed here.

On the question of completion of 100 days of rape and brutal murder of a trainee nurse in RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh said that the trial of this case is now going on. The person who was involved in the rape and murder was arrested by Kolkata Police within 24 hours. Now this case is in the hands of CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation). CBI has given charge sheet in the court and the trial is going on in the court.

He emphasized that this case is being heard daily in the court. The person who was caught by Kolkata Police within 24 hours, after 58 days CBI gave charge sheet against him. In such a situation, the arrest of Kolkata Police was right.

Regarding the communal incident in Beldanga, Murshidabad, the TMC leader said that there was a disagreement between two groups in Beldanga, but now the atmosphere is calm. There was an attempt by some inauspicious forces to trouble Bengal. An attempt was made to create confusion among the people. After this, some incidents happened after some people got confused, but when people were appealed to make peace, people became calm. Right now the situation is normal.
