BJP government said this big thing in the assembly regarding reservation, know what it said

Jaipur : In Rajasthan, reservation is being given to 59 castes in the Scheduled Caste category, 12 in the Scheduled Tribe category and 92 castes of different categories in the backward class. The state government has given this answer to a question raised in the assembly in the last session of the previous government. The government has said in its reply that orphan children have been given reservation in the Other Backward Classes.

BJP MLA from Beawar, Shankar Singh Rawat had asked the government in the assembly whether there is a plan to include Rawat and Mehrat caste in the ST category. To this, the government has replied that no such proposal is under consideration. On the basis of the recommendation of the report of Rajasthan State Backward Class Commission, an order was issued on 6 August 1994 to include Rawat and Mehrat caste in the list of Other Backward Classes of the state.
The government has replied that four categories of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class and castes included in the General Category reside in the state. The government has the list of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class castes. No survey of castes included in the General Category has been conducted by the state government. In the state, 16 percent reservation is being given to SC, 12 percent to Scheduled Tribe, 21 percent to Other Backward Class, 5 percent to Extremely Backward Class and 10 percent to Economically Weaker Section.
