Mumbai, November 24 (IANS). Mahayuti has once again returned to power by winning 236 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Amol Mitkari had a special conversation with IANS on Sunday.
NCP leader Amol Mitkari described Maharashtra Assembly elections as a big victory and talked about winning the Man of the Series. All three parties have come together and registered victory. BJP worked very hard, people of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh helped them, the credit for this big victory also goes to them. We got more seats than expected.
Regarding Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut raising questions on EVMs, the NCP leader said that EVMs were not used during the Lok Sabha elections? His mind has been affected. My request to Uddhav Thackeray is to find a room for Sanjay Raut, otherwise he will roam around killing everyone.
Before the elections, Mahavikas Aghadi was continuously holding meetings. He had booked the hotels. On this the NCP leader said that he had also booked the flight, there was talk about the Chief Minister’s face.
On the question of Chief Minister’s face, he said that Bharatiya Janata Party has won the maximum number of seats in the grand alliance. In such a situation, BJP has the first right on the post of Chief Minister. If there is a feeling of sacrifice and dedication, then Devendra Fadnavis will go to Delhi and we will handle Maharashtra.
Regarding the slogan ‘Bantenge to Katenge’, he said that we never welcomed this slogan. Despite UP CM Yogi giving the slogan, Ajit Pawar said that this is not the culture of Maharashtra.
Let us tell you that voting was held on November 20 in Maharashtra with 288 seats. The results came out on 23 November. In this, the ruling Mahayuti won 236 seats.
