Jaipur : Former Rajasthan Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas lashed out at BJP on Wednesday. During this, he said that during its 11 months of rule, the BJP government made efforts to change the names of the schemes of the Congress government to its own names. He will not succeed. Khachariyawas further said that all the public welfare schemes run in the name of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi, who is respected all over the world, have almost been stopped. There are some schemes whose names have not only been changed, but at the same time those schemes have also been discontinued. When BJP did not provide employment to even a single person in 11 months under the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Act, then there is no justification in changing the name of that scheme.
BJP is stopping Congress’s plans
Khachariyawas further said that the 11 schemes were named after Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. During the Congress rule, special benefits along with employment guarantee were being provided to the public through these schemes. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised the people of the state before the assembly elections that no scheme of the Congress which benefits the people will be stopped. But the names of 10 schemes of the Congress government have been changed and these schemes have been put on hold. By putting in this, the BJP government has proved that BJP has no concern with the public. Along with this, BJP is also afraid of the names of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
‘BJP stopped milking children’
The Congress leader further said that the BJP will have to suffer the consequences of the great sin it is committing by changing the names of the schemes of the Congress government. He further said that under Indira Rasoi Yojana, now only one plate is available for eight rupees. If a hungry person asks for another plate, he is not given another plate. This is the first time that the BJP government has also cut down on bread as part of the Congress rule plan. He said that the BJP government is not providing milk to the children of Anganwadi and government schools for the last 11 months. Children’s milk has been stopped and the dress which was provided free to government school children during the Congress government has been discontinued. That too has been stopped by the BJP government.
