Shiromani Akali Dal leader Vikramjit Singh Majithia has released on social media the video of the meeting of Narayan Singh Chauda, accused in the fatal attack on Akali leader Sukhbir Singh Badal, with the SP. BJP National Executive member Harjeet Singh Grewal’s reaction has come to light on this video.
Harjeet Singh Grewal said, “The government was fully aware of this. The agencies also knew that this person was roaming here and all this was happening in a planned manner. Now the question arises, whose plan was it, what was the plan? It would be better to get it investigated by NIA because it also involves international crime.
He further said, “If the agencies of our country take action on this, it will be a good thing.” Now it depends on the honesty of the Punjab Government, only then this investigation will be done. But I don’t know what their thinking is, because Kejriwal’s politics is not good for the country.
Let us tell you that on Wednesday, a person tried to attack Sukhbir Singh Badal at the entrance of the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Whose CCTV footage has also surfaced. It can be clearly seen in the video that the man tries to attack Sukhbir Badal fatally. But, he escapes safely as the bullet hits the wall. During this time, the people and security personnel present at the spot catch the person.
After the attack on Sukhbir Singh Badal, his security has been tightened. For their security, about 200 policemen including one AIG, two SPs, two DSPs have been deployed in plain clothes.
