Kota : A dispute took a serious turn recently in Kaithunipol area of Kota district of Rajasthan, when a fight broke out between BJP leaders over the welcome gate. The incident took place over the installation of welcome gate on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi, in which there was an incident of fighting and stone pelting between the two sides. In this matter, the dispute between the two sides did not calm down, so today the police have registered cross cases against each other from both sides. According to the information, the dispute took place between two BJP workers named Sandeep Bhatia and Harish Rathore. Both the sides had set up separate welcome gates and pandals to welcome the huge procession on the day of Anant Chaturdashi. After an altercation on this issue, the supporters of both the sides came face to face and the dispute took a violent turn. The situation deteriorated so much that both the sides started pelting stones at each other.
Police tried to control the situation
The police was immediately informed and they reached the spot and controlled the situation. Some people have been injured in this fight, including one or two policemen. Deputy Superintendent of Police Garima Jindal said that police from several police stations have been deployed at the spot and additional security arrangements have been made to maintain peace in the entire area. She also said that information is being gathered about the real reason for the fight and the people involved are being identified.
Top BJP leader got information about the incident
Sandeep Bhatia was earlier the block president of Congress. He recently joined BJP. Harish Rathore, another BJP worker, was setting up gates and pandals to welcome the Anant Chaturdashi procession on his own. This dispute has also exposed the internal factionalism among BJP workers. Top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party have also been informed about the entire incident.
