Raipur, 26 November (IANS). Constitution Day is being celebrated across the country on Tuesday. On this occasion, many people are remembering the Indian Constitution with the aim of showing respect and importance towards the Indian Constitution. On this occasion, BJP MLA Anuj Sharma and Chhattisgarh Government Cabinet Minister Tankram Verma had a special conversation with IANS on the importance of the Constitution.
BJP MLA Anuj Sharma, while talking to IANS, said that the Constitution of India is a force that has kept the entire country united and today is the day to show respect for the Constitution. Constitution Day is being celebrated so that the coming generation understands their Constitution and knows the basic sentiments of this country. This is an important event. I would also say that it is the responsibility of all of us to protect the Constitution and it is also our responsibility to follow the rules. Today Constitution Day was celebrated with great pomp in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.
He said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his party make statements regarding the Constitution. These are the same people who have insulted the Constitution of India from time to time. What will the people who imposed emergency say about the Constitution? These people just show off, cheat and do politics. Bharatiya Janata Party respects the Constitution and respects the basic spirit of this country. When Congress talks about the Constitution, do they not understand that it is they who insulted the Constitution? This is also an insult to Baba Saheb Ambedkar. BJP has always respected Baba Saheb and today we paid tribute to him by marching on the occasion of his birth anniversary. Congress has always worked to deceive people in the name of the Constitution.
Chhattisgarh Government Cabinet Minister Tankram Verma, while talking to IANS, said that I congratulate everyone on Constitution Day. Constitution Day is being celebrated across the country on the call of our country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this connection, in our state too, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, we all celebrated this day with great pomp. On Rahul Gandhi raising questions on the Constitution, he said that his view towards the Constitution is not clear. You know that Congress had imposed emergency and we all understand the situation at that time very well.
He said that it is our responsibility to follow the Constitution and respect its instructions, we all should follow the Constitution. Congress party has insulted Baba Saheb Ambedkar. If the Constitution is insulted in Congress, it also affects the respect of Baba Saheb. We all should respect the Constitution and fulfill our responsibilities towards it.
