BJP wants to end the Preamble of the Constitution: SP MP Awadhesh Prasad

New Delhi, 27 November (IANS). Samajwadi Party MP from Ayodhya, Awadhesh Prasad has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party wants to abolish the Preamble of the Constitution.

MP Awadhesh Prasad said that today is a very good day. Our Constitution was adopted on this day. The people of the country have a lot of expectations from this. Through this, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar has given strength to the weaker sections of the society, so that they too can contribute to the development of the country by joining the mainstream of the society. The SP MP said that but it is unfortunate that the Central Government wants to tamper with the Constitution. It wants to destroy the basic spirit of the Constitution i.e. its Preamble. But we will not allow the government to do this at any cost. Will fight every battle for this.

MP Avadhesh Prasad alleged that the present government is weakening the reservation system given in the Constitution. Reservation is in government jobs, but the government is selling every government institution. It is privatizing it. When there will be no government jobs, then who will be given reservation? Our Dalit backward brothers will suffer the most due to this. This effort of the government is contrary to the intentions of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar. But we will protect the Constitution and make every effort to protect the rights of Dalits, backward and deprived classes and will not allow the Constitution to be destroyed.

The SP MP termed the Sambhal incident as very unfortunate. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party government of Uttar Pradesh is responsible for whatever violent incident took place there. This is the failure of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government.
