Jaipur : Political parties have started preparing strategies for the upcoming assembly by-elections in Rajasthan. While the Congress has called a meeting of the Legislature Party on Tuesday (July 9) to discuss the issues of the by-election. For this, talks have been held with senior leaders to prepare a strategy from alliance to other things. At the same time, BJP is also preparing to put all its strength for the by-election. Under this, a meeting of the BJP Working Committee has been called. The special thing is that it is going to be chaired by Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The BJP Working Committee has called a meeting on July 13 regarding the by-elections to be held on five assembly seats in Rajasthan. Along with the discussion, proposals will be passed in the meeting regarding the future plans of the BJP.
8000 party officials will be present
About 8000 party officials including conveners and co-conveners of all fronts, cells and departments will be present in the meeting to be held at JECC auditorium in Sitapur on July 13. While this is the first time when Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will attend the BJP Working Committee meeting along with Mandal President and General Secretary level officials. They have been called to the meeting to strengthen the BJP at Shakti Kendra and booth level. All four ministers of Rajasthan Bhagirath Chaudhary, Bhupendra Yadav, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Arjun Meghwal will also be present in the meeting.
Rajasthan BJP President CP Joshi said that apart from Chauhan, the names of the leaders attending the meeting of the working committee will be decided in a day or two. Party sources said that Shivraj Singh Chauhan will get the political proposals approved by the working committee passed in the meeting. It is being told that along with the by-elections, senior leaders will brainstorm on strengthening the weak links in those 11 seats of Rajasthan, where BJP had to face defeat in the Lok Sabha elections.
