Patna, 5 December (IANS). Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar next year. Almost all parties have started preparations regarding this. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is preparing for major changes in its organization. BJP is going to increase the number of districts from mandal to organization. District level meetings are going on continuously in the state office.
BJP State President cum Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dilip Jaiswal said on Thursday that a district level meeting of the party is going on, in which state level leaders are also participating. This meeting will continue for next two to three days.
He said that we have decided to delimit the elections to be held next year and to take the organization’s work to the grassroots level. At present there are 45 district organizations of the party in the state. We are delimiting our party. Organizations will increase the district from 45 to 51 or more. Six to seven organizations will expand the district further. Apart from this, the number of divisions will also be increased. A new division will be formed by cutting the division which has 60-70 booths. With this, the work of the organization can be done easily. This will also make management of the 2025 assembly elections easier.
He said that the organization festival is going on and there is a continuous discussion about making the organization more sharp. Bihar BJP is busy in appointing Mandal President and District President. A target has been set to appoint new presidents in all the boards by December 15 this year. By 30th December, District President will be appointed in all the organization districts. This team will enter the election fray next year with enthusiasm.
