BJP will make big moves to demolish Rajkumar Rot’s stronghold, know the political equation

Jaipur : The date of by-election for seven assembly seats in Rajasthan has not been announced yet. But political turmoil has intensified on these seats. Among these seats, there is one seat where the situation is worrying for the ruling party BJP. BJP has also used its full strength to demolish the stronghold of Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP). On coming 4th October, ‘Aadi Gaurav Samaroh’ program will be organized by the Tribal Department at Mangarh Dham in Banswara. President Draupadi Murmu will also participate in this program. This program is being considered very important in order to tap the tribal vote bank.

The challenge before BJP is no less!

In fact, after separating from Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP), the dominance of BAP Party is visible in about 15 assembly constituencies of the state including Chaurasi. The special thing is that the challenge for BJP in Chaurasi is not the main opposition party, but the father itself. If we look at the figures of this year’s Lok Sabha elections after the last two assembly elections, one can get an idea of the strength of the party. On the other hand, there is not much left for Congress here. Despite this, Congress is talking about fighting alone instead of forming an alliance with the father.

Congress vote bank reduced to just 3.64%

If we look at the data of vote sharing from the 2018 assembly elections to the November 2023 assembly elections and the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, the vote share of Banswara-Dungarpur MP Rajkumar Rot increased from 38.22 percent to 57.30 percent. Whereas BJP’s voting percentage decreased from 30.51 percent to 26.23 percent. Whereas the vote bank of Congress has fallen from 21.41 percent to just 3.64 percent.

Sometimes BTP fought with father, every time BJP was defeated.

In the 2018 assembly elections, Bharatiya Tribal Party candidate Rajkumar Rot got 64 thousand 119 votes. Whereas BJP candidate Sushil Katara got 51 thousand 185 votes. Rajkumar Roat will contest from Bharat Adivasi Party in the 2023 assembly elections. During this period, he got 1 lakh 11 thousand 150 votes and BJP candidate Sushil Katara got 41 thousand 984 votes. Roat defeated the BJP candidate by a huge margin of 69 thousand 166 votes.

Malviya had rebelled against Congress and contested the Lok Sabha elections from BJP.

This year, in the Lok Sabha elections, Bharat Adivasi Party candidate Rajkumar Rot got 8 lakh 20 thousand 831 votes. Whereas Mahendrajit Malviya, rebelling from Congress, contested the elections from BJP and got 5 lakh 73 thousand 777 votes. Now in the eighty-fourth by-election, BJP wants to demolish the stronghold of the father’s party, while at the same time, the father is also busy in strengthening the fortification of his stronghold. Amidst all this, Congress is waiting to regain its lost support base.
