BJP will make more people its members in Bengal: Sukant Majumdar

Kolkata, 18 November (IANS). West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party State President Sukant Majumdar had a special conversation with IANS on Monday. During this, he gave his reaction on BJP membership campaign in the state and Beldanga communal incident in Murshidabad.

Regarding the membership campaign of Bharatiya Janata Party in West Bengal, Sukant Majumdar told IANS that ever since the BJP’s membership campaign in Bengal was started by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the campaign is going on vigorously in the entire state. Is.

He further said that a mega campaign was launched on Sunday to make people members of the party. In which more than one lakh people across Bengal were linked to BJP. The party is slowly gaining momentum in the state and I think that in the coming times, Bengal BJP will make a large number of people its members.

Regarding the communal incident and conflict between two groups in Beldanga, Murshidabad during Kartik Purnima, BJP leader Sukant Majumdar said that such incidents are happening all over West Bengal. Beldanga is anyway far away from the capital Kolkata and the TMC MLA had said that we are 70 percent, Hindus are 30 percent and we will cut them and drown them in Bhagirathi.

He further said that the attack took place at the time of Durga Puja in the Kolkata Mayor’s area and an attempt was made to break the idol. During this time the Hindus had stopped the accused. Mamata Banerjee is making every effort to create the Bengal of 1946.

Let us inform that on Saturday, people associated with fundamentalist organization attacked people celebrating Kartik Puja in Beldanga town of Murshidabad district. After this the tension between the two communities increased. The angry mob accused the Hindus of blasphemy and carried out stone pelting and arson.
