Bloody conflict over land dispute in Rajasthan, woman murdered and thrown away

Sri Ganganagar : Sri Ganganagar In Rajiyasar police station area village Aita, on Sunday, people from the in-laws’ side murdered a woman over a land dispute and dumped her body in a water tank. People from the deceased’s maternal side staged a sit-in outside the CHC mortuary on Monday morning demanding the arrest of the accused in the murder case. After this, the angry people staged a sit-in outside the CHC on Bikaner Road. Due to the jam for about ten minutes, the drivers had to face difficulties in movement. On receiving the information, DSP Prateek Meel reached the spot and got the jam cleared by persuading the villagers. The villagers also staged a sit-in outside the DSP office for some time. A delegation of villagers met the DSP. In this, the DSP assured appropriate action in this case. After this, the Rajiyasar police got the post-mortem of the body done in the CHC mortuary in the presence of the family members and handed it over to the family. At the same time, the FSL team inspected the spot at the incident site in Aita village. The police have registered a case of murder against three people on the report of the deceased’s son.

According to the information, Jamila (45) wife of Mohammad Ali died under suspicious circumstances in a waterworks tank at around 12:30 am on Sunday morning in village Aita of Rajiyasar police station area. On receiving information from the villagers, Rajiyasar police station officer Satish Sharma and ASI Ramavatar reached the spot and kept the body in the mortuary of Suratgarh CHC late in the evening. Rajiyasar police said that the deceased’s son Salman reported that for about twenty days there was a daily fight in his house over land dispute. Due to this, he went to his maternal home Chohilanwali (Hanumangarh) on Saturday. On Sunday evening at around four o’clock, the neighbors informed Salman that his mother Jamila (45) was killed and thrown into the waterworks tank.
She alleged that her father Mohammad Ali, uncle Yusuf Khan and grandfather Dhanne Khan together killed her mother Jamil and threw her in the tank of the waterworks. The son of the deceased also said that his life was in danger from his family. It is worth mentioning that the deceased has one son and two daughters and all the children are married.
