Kota : Bodies of two youths have been found in Bhadana canal in Railway Colony police station area of Kota city. They were identified as Manoj (45), resident of Morena, MP and Satyendra (31), resident of Bhind. Both the youths worked in a company that provided food in the catering service of the Railways. It is being told that on Sunday night they were sitting on the wall along the canal and drinking alcohol. Then fell into the canal. Today the postmortem of both the bodies is being conducted in the mortuary of MBS Hospital.
When he did not return late at night, a search was started.
Manoj’s brother-in-law Vasudev told that RK Associate is a supervisor in the company. Both his brother-in-law Manoj and Satyendra were working in the company for two months. Lived near the ice factory in Kota. Sunday was a holiday. Both of them went out for a walk in the morning. Returned home in the afternoon, then after taking bath and eating, left home at 4 pm. Who did not return till night. Both used to drink alcohol. When he did not return at 8 pm, they started searching for him. Inquired at nearby liquor vends. It was already dark. The slippers of both were found lying near Bhadana canal, 500 meters away from the house. Then when we lit the torch we saw that both of their bodies were lying in the canal. With the help of local people, the body that landed in the canal was taken out. There was waist-deep water in the canal. People told that both of them were sitting on the canal wall and drinking alcohol. Fell behind the wall.
Police registered a case
Railway Colony police station CI Ramswaroop Meena said that at around 8.30 pm, information was received about two dead bodies lying in the canal near Bhadana intersection. When I went to the spot, I saw a crowd of 50-60 people gathered there. The dead bodies were taken out by them. One slipper of each was lying near the canal. And two pavvas of country liquor were also lying there. Company supervisor Vasudev identified both of them. A case has been registered on the complaint of Vasudev. The case is being investigated.
