Udaipur : Vistara flight received a bomb threat in Udaipur on Sunday. This type of threat has been received for the third time in 4 days. As soon as the flight from Bengaluru to Udaipur landed at Maharana Pratap Airport at 1:20 pm. At the same time, information was received about a bomb blowing up a crew member in the flight. On this, an announcement was made to the passengers that there was a bomb threat to the flight.
Flight departs after checking
The passengers boarding the plane were asked to leave their luggage and bags behind and go to a safe place. Dabok Police Station Officer Chandrashekhar Kilaniya said that a threat to blow up the flight with a bomb was received on social media. After that, with the help of metal detector and dog squad, under the direction of police and airport security, airport officials, complete checking of passenger’s luggage and flight was done. No suspicious objects were found during checking of flight and passengers’ luggage. The flight was dispatched after checking.
Strictness of airport administration after continuous threats
This Vistara flight departs from Bengaluru at 11:20 am and lands in Udaipur at 1:20 pm. From here the flight returns to Bengaluru at 1:55 pm, but after receiving the bomb threat, it took about two and a half hours for checking. In such a situation, this flight left for Bengaluru with a delay of two and a half hours at around 4:20 pm. Here, after receiving continuous threats, the airport administration has tightened security. Earlier on October 24, Alliance Air’s Delhi-Udaipur-Ahmedabad flight had received a bomb threat. The next day, on October 25, Indigo’s Udaipur-Delhi flight also received a threat. However, no suspicious object was found in them during checking. Both the flights were delayed by two and a half to three hours after checking. Here, the passengers are scared after continuous threats to blow up the flight. This is also affecting tourism.
