Bundi News Desk: The family members, who reached Muktidham on Wednesday to complete the Bundi Teeya rituals, were shocked when many bones of the deceased were found missing. At the same time, an empty liquor bottle, coconut wrapped in black cloth and incense sticks were found on the spot. The family members have lodged a complaint in the Sadar police station. Police are scanning CCTV for investigation. The last rites were performed four days ago after the death of Kalulal Meena, who retired from the post of Additional Public Prosecutor. The incident took place at Muktidham located on Mantuda Road, Bundi.
Kalulal Meena, who lived behind the pipe factory on Mantuda Road, died on November 18. According to family tradition, the last rites were performed at Muktidham. There was a Teeya ceremony on Wednesday. In this connection, the family members had come to collect the ashes. The family members were stunned when, while picking out the ashes, the bones of many parts of the body were found missing from the spot. Unknown people had tampered with the pyre. An empty liquor bottle, a coconut wrapped in a black cloth and incense sticks were found near the pyre. Due to this, the family members became worried and approached the police and informed about the entire incident. Police inspected the spot and seized the items. Police are scanning CCTV footage to identify those who took the ashes.
Advocate Bharat Meena, son of the deceased, said that on reaching Moksh Dham in the morning, ashes were found scattered at the cremation site. Someone had sprinkled water on the spot. The main bones which were taken to Haridwar were not found. Tantric ritual items were lying around, which have been confiscated by the police. Whereas in this Mokshadham under the Red Cross Society, he had also got a receipt issued for security. An FIR has been submitted in Sadar police station regarding the matter.

People often use bones in tantric rituals. Complaints are also filed against such people, but they are not able to be caught. Bharat Meena, son of the deceased, said that he lodged a complaint with the police and also interrogated the watchman, but he too could not tell anything.

Advocate Council President Bundi Chandrashekhar Sharma expressed his displeasure and called it the negligence of the Red Cross Society. He said that when a watchman is appointed for security in Mokshadham, then how were the ashes stolen? Strong arrangements should be made to prevent such incidents.
