Breaking Churu Police found the accused of theft of Rs 3 crore with the help of AI, created the entire face in CCTV with just eyes

Churu : Rs 2 crore 70 lakh was stolen from a jewelers shop in the main market of Churu. The thieves made away with Rs 17 lakh cash, 1.5 kg gold and 2 quintal silver utensils. This theft was done by the battery gang of UP. The important thing is that the police caught the gang by making photographs of the masked men using AI. The accused are Bhagirath, Yadaram, resident of Auraiya (UP) and Ajay Singh, resident of Jhotwara. Two accused are still absconding.

The gang stole 4 kg of gold in Bengal

Churu SP Jai Yadav told that the same gang had stolen 4 kg of gold in Bengal also. The police got AI to make photographs of car numbers and faces hidden in masks. Sequencing of these photos was done from more than 200 photos. After this the accused were arrested. The gang members had stolen 1 kg gold, 200 kg silver and Rs 17 lakh in cash from the shop of jeweler Chhaganlal Soni on the night of 30 November.

One thousand CCTV cameras searched

Chhaganlal had registered a case at Ratangarh police station on 1 December. 30 police personnel searched around 1000 CCTV cameras of Ratangarh, Rajaldesar, Parsneu, Bidasar, Jaswantgarh Bypass and Ladnun. A suspicious vehicle was seen in the footage. The clue to the accused came from here. Rajgarh ASP Nishchay Prasad M, who was leading the team, said that the accused had masks on their faces. To avoid fingerprints, he wore gloves. There was a fake number plate on the car also. Help was also taken from police of other states to crack this case.

Police Captain Jai Yadav told that at the time of the incident, the accused had carried out the theft in a vicious manner wearing masks on their faces and gloves in their hands, in which the vehicle numbers were also fake, hence it was a big challenge for the police to trace the accused. .

Faces and suspects were identified using AI technology

He said that due to the accused having masks and gloves on their faces, the faces and suspects were identified with the help of new AI technology. In the CCTV footage found related to the incident, the numbers of the car were visible blurred. CCTV footage and videos were sent to ATS and SOG for correct identification of the numbers. Even ATS and SOG were not successful in identifying the numbers, so the help of AI technology was taken to identify the car numbers, which led to the identification of the car numbers of the thieves.

Three accused arrested

The team formed under the leadership of Police Officer Dilip Singh took the location of the car on the basis of CCTV footage. Police got information about the car entering Kuchaman city. Information was received that the vehicle was in Ashiana Colony of Kuchaman. When the police detained UP residents Bhagirath Bawri, Ajay Singh Bawri and Yadram Bawri and interrogated them, they confessed to their crime. The other two accused involved in the case are still away from police custody. Along with arresting the three accused, the police have also seized the Ertiga vehicle.

Late night of 30th November, unknown thieves came in a car and came to the roof of the shop from a vacant plot behind the shop and entered inside by breaking the door of the stairs. According to the information, gold and silver jewelery worth about Rs 3 crore was looted. In the report given to the police, the shop owner said that the thieves took away 17 lakh cash, 1.5 kg gold and 2 quintal silver utensils. The total value of the stolen goods is being estimated at Rs 2 crore 70 lakh. The police is now busy searching for two other accused involved in this case.
