Dungarpur : Bharat Adivasi Party’s Anil Katara has registered a big victory in the Chaurasi Assembly by-election of Dungarpur district of Rajasthan. Anil Katara has won by 24370 votes. After Rajkumar Rot became MLA from this seat twice, Anil Katara has inherited his legacy. BJP’s Karilal stood second with 64791 votes. Also, the security deposit of the Congress candidate was confiscated. Counting of votes for 84 assembly by-elections was completed in 18 rounds.
Congress’s security deposit confiscated
Counting of votes was done in the presence of District Election Officer Collector Ankit Kumar Singh. In which Bharat Adivasi Party candidate Anil Kumar Katara has won a big victory by 24370 votes. Anil Katara has got 89 thousand 161 votes on the seat, while his rival BJP candidate Karilal Nanoma has got 64 thousand 791 votes. Along with this, the security deposit of Congress candidate Mahesh Rot has been forfeited because Mahesh has got only 15 thousand 915 votes from 84 seats.
Will fulfill people’s promises
After the victory of Bharat Adivasi Party, the returning officer administered the oath of office to Anil Katara as MLA. After this, Anil came out of the counting room with his supporters and workers. Anil Katara said that he was completely confident of victory. He will fulfill the trust that people have reposed in him. Whatever promises he has made to the people, he will work on employment and education. Anil said that the government has deployed the entire system here, yet people have expressed confidence in them. Which he will live up to. After the victory, BAP workers and supporters celebrated vigorously.
