Breaking News Demand for recount on this hot seat of Rajasthan, created ruckus

Dausa : In the by-elections held on 13 November on 7 assembly seats, the lowest turnout was in Dausa seat. A total of 62.3% votes were cast in Dausa, while a total of 74.20% voting took place in this seat in the 2023 assembly elections.

After Congress’s victory in Dausa, BJP has given an application to the Returning Officer demanding recounting. There was commotion in the college campus after which BJP candidate Jagmohan Meena reached the counting room.

Congress in Dausa

Congress won the Dausa Assembly by-election. Deendayal Bairwa won by defeating Kirori Lal Meena’s brother by 2109 votes.

16th round of counting of votes completed in Dausa. In which Congress had lead till 5652. Congress’s lead is continuously decreasing since the last four rounds.

Dausa seat: 15th round

BJP’s Jagmohan Meena got 5186 in the 15th round.

In the ninth round of vote counting in Dausa, Congress’ lead was around 7900.

By the eighth round of Dausa, Congress had a lead of 7119.

The seventh round of counting of votes was completed in Dausa. In which Congress’ lead now became 6558.

In the sixth round, Deendayal Bairwa of Congress is ahead by about 3800 votes.

BJP’s Jagmohan Meena got 3631 votes in the fifth round.

In the third round, Congress was ahead by about 1350 votes.

In the second round of vote counting in Dausa assembly seat, Congress’s lead reduced from 920 to about 100 votes and BJP got about 800 votes more than Congress.

In the first round, Congress was ahead by about 940 votes.

Counting of by-election votes started
Counting of votes for the by-election has started amid tight security arrangements. Counting of first postal ballot started at 8.30 am in PG College. Where District Election Officer Devendra Kumar is present.

There was a direct contest between BJP and Congress on Dausa and Ramgarh assembly seats. Here BJP had given ticket to Jagmohan Meena, brother of Kirori Lal Meena, while Congress had given ticket to Deendayal Bairwa, close to Sachin Pilot.

BJP’s Jagmohan Meena got Rs 5000 in the 14th round.

BJP’s Jagmohan Meena and Congress’ DC Bairwa are seen together in an interview going viral on social media. In which Jagmohan Meena said that ‘In the end we will win, all is well that ends well, definitely BJP will win with good votes.’ Whereas DC Bairwa said, ‘Whatever decision the public takes will be accepted, victory and defeat continue. Neither did I ever make any allegations against him nor did he ever attack me.

By the 13th round, Congress had a lead of around 11250.
Whereas BJP got 750 more votes than Congress. Now 5 rounds of counting of votes are yet to take place in Dausa.

12th round of counting of votes completed in Dausa. By the 12th round, Deendayal Bairwa of Congress was leading by about 12000 votes. Now 6 rounds of counting of votes are left in Dausa.

10 rounds of vote counting completed in Dausa. By the tenth round, Congress had a lead of 8777. Now 8 rounds of counting of votes are left in Dausa.

Big news from Dausa
Congress candidate Deendayal won by about 2300 votes. BJP’s Jagmohan Meena, brother of cabinet minister Kirodilal Meena, lost. However, the result is yet to be formally announced.
