Jaipur : Rising Rajasthan Summit is being organized in Rajasthan today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated it. On this occasion, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, Birla Group Chief Kumar Mangalam Birla, Vedanta’s Anil Aggarwal, Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra, Sanjeev Puri, Ajay S. were present at the summit. Many top industrialists like Shriram and Japanese Ambassador Keiichi Ono, along with top officials of several business groups and diplomats are also going to attend.
In the inaugural session, some eminent industrialists will share their views about the major policy reforms initiated by the Rajasthan Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and the changes that are coming in the state and the commercial potential of the business world. Apart from this, representatives of 32 countries are participating in this investment summit, out of which 17 countries are going to participate as ‘Partner Countries’.
Anil Aggarwal said, “So far we have invested Rs 1 lakh crore on behalf of Hindustan Zinc, have given employment to 1 lakh people, 5000 companies have benefited from it. Every year we have contributed Rs 50 thousand crore through tax. Out of this, Rs 10 thousand crore is going on and we will increase this revenue by three times. Rajasthan government will get employment for 5 lakh people.
