Broken roads in Ajmer – water supply due to low pressure, no regular cleaning

Ajmer : Residents of Ajmer Panchsheel area openly expressed their local problems on Sunday. He raised issues like broken roads, low pressure water supply, long hours of noise in hotels. Expressed displeasure over the neglect of Municipal Corporation, ADA and public representatives. ‘In the Speak Out program organized at Jan Shikshan Sansthan located in Panchsheel on Sunday, people enumerated many problems. Panchsheel area is divided into Municipal Corporation-Housing Board. Only 15-20 sweepers are approved. There is a need to increase the width of roads and repair drains.

Many trenching grounds in the area

There is no regular cleaning in the area. Despite complaints on Municipal Corporation and CM portal, problems are not resolved quickly. Unannounced trenching grounds have been made at many places in the area.

People have put up sign boards at various places in the colony. A fee is charged for garbage collection. Vehicles coming to marts and malls remain parked on the roads.

There is noise in the hotel and function venue till late night. The Supreme Court’s 10 pm guideline is not followed. Despite complaint to the police, strict action is not being taken.

The rain drain from Prithviraj Nagar is increasing the problem by coming near Chanakya Memorial. The drain is vulnerable to encroachment at many places. The entire area is troubled by the monkey menace.

The problem of parking on the main road is severe. There is a danger of dengue and malaria due to dirty water. Fogging is not regular.

Junkyard plots

Many vacant plots in the area have become garbage depots due to lack of construction. ADA or Municipal Corporation should impose restrictions on the owners for boundary walls.
