Bikaner News Desk: Two people, including a woman, died and two were seriously injured in a horrific road accident that took place on Thursday near Biggabas Ramsara on the National Highway in Sridungargarh, Bikaner.

According to the information, Mamraj son of Shravanram Jakhar, Ramdhan son of Purkharam Jakhar, Manoj son of Ramchandra Jakhar and Tulchidevi wife of Ramchandra Jakhar, resident of Biggabas Ramsara, were coming to Sridungargarh from their village in a jeep on Thursday afternoon. As soon as Biggabas left Ramsara, he stopped the jeep on the road to drop another person in the jeep near the hotel. During this, a truck coming from behind hit the jeep. The collision was so severe that the jeep was blown to pieces and all four people in the jeep were seriously injured. All the injured were taken to the Upazila Hospital by ambulance of Aapno Gaon Seva Samiti and Dr. APJ Welfare Society. Where doctors declared Mamraj Jakhar (60) and Tulchi Devi (40) dead. The seriously injured Ramdhan and Manoj were referred to Bikaner.

Biggabas Ramsara Sarpanch Laxmanram Jakhar said that the deceased and the injured in the accident were members of the same family. Deceased Mamraj and Tulchidevi were brothers-in-law and sister-in-law. Injured Manoj is the son of deceased Tulchidevi and Ramdhan is the son of deceased Mamraj’s cousin.

The incident of road accident was captured in the CCTV camera installed nearby. On receiving information about the accident, CO Niket Pareek and Police Officer Indrakumar also reached the spot and inspected the spot.
