Brother of deceased Atul said, despite FIR being registered, police has not yet taken action against the accused family.

Bengaluru, December 11 (IANS). Bengaluru Police has registered a complaint on the complaint of brother in the suicide case of AI engineer Atul Subhash in Bengaluru. Police have registered a case under Section 108 and Section 3(5) of the Indian Judicial Code. In this case, the deceased’s brother Vikas Modi has said that even after the FIR has been registered, the police has not taken any action yet.

While talking to journalists, Vikas Modi said that even after registering the FIR, the police has not taken any action against the family. He asked the police why no action has been taken yet? A few days ago a woman had committed suicide. He also did not leave any suicide note. Nevertheless, the police took immediate action and arrested her boyfriend.

A few days later he committed suicide. He had made a 20-minute video and also left a three-page suicide note. He had written in it that his ex-fiancee was harassing him. Even after the FIR was registered for two months, no arrest was made. So what I want to say is that we have filed a complaint against my brother’s wife and her family. The police have not yet taken any action even after registering the FIR. In response to a question, Vikas Modi said that we want justice.

After this, Atul Subhash’s brother Vikas Modi spoke to IANS. During this, he told that if I or our father had known even a little about my brother, we would have saved him. We would try to eliminate whatever was going on in his mind. But he did not share anything with us, because he thought that things could be fixed only after my death. He always wanted that my old parents should not suffer any trouble. May my brother never face any problems.

In response to a question, Vikas Modi said that my brother said that if I get justice, then throw my ashes in the Ganga and if not, put them in the gutter in front of the court. He was fed up with the system. He requested that the Supreme Court or the President take cognizance of this case. Try to identify who is right and who is wrong. Whoever is guilty in this case should be given the harshest punishment. We will fight till the logical end.

In the case of Atul Subhash’s suicide, the deceased’s maternal uncle Sushil Jalan, while talking to IANS, said that we never felt that he could commit suicide in this manner. At around 10 pm at night, Atul talked to our sister and brother-in-law, talked to his brother. We didn’t feel that he could take such a big step. The 40-page suicide note that has been made cannot be a matter of one or two days. When Atul came to the court in April, he was asked why he doesn’t commit suicide. Ever since it was set in his mind that I was the reason for all this.

In response to a question, he said that he did not share anything with the family or us. He sent the mail at 1:30 in the night and only after that people came to know about all this. The court had asked Subhash to pay Rs 40 thousand per month for the upbringing of the child, to which he agreed. Then the amount was increased to Rs 80 thousand by the court. There was also talk of settlement. The talks for settlement started from Rs 50 lakh and reached Rs 3 crore. We and the family members want the court to give us justice and whoever is guilty should get strict punishment.

Save Indian Families Foundation spokesperson Gauri Krishna told IANS that we will fight this case till the end. Atul was a part of our organization, he sacrificed his life like Bhagat Singh. Atul wanted to change the system. In his suicide note, Atul has demanded that his child should be handed over to his grandparents. That’s why we are fighting for it. We are fighting for the justice that is right for him. 9 false cases have been registered against him.

Let us tell you that in the suicide case of software engineer of Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh, DCP Shivkumar Gunare said that Atul Subhash committed suicide in Bengaluru. His brother has given a complaint in Marathahalli police station that many cases are pending against his brother in Uttar Pradesh. His wife and her family members had demanded money to settle these cases. He harassed Atul Subhash, due to which he committed suicide. We have registered a case based on the complaint and started investigation.

Police have registered a case under section 108 (abetment of suicide) of the Indian Judicial Code, section 3(5) (collective responsibility arises when two or more people are involved).
