Pali : The body of Mandrup Gurjar, son of Chandraram Gurjar, a resident of Kheda, was found lying on the road on Wednesday evening on the road coming from Mandi Chauraha to the cement factory in Ras police station area of Beawar district. On finding injury marks on the head and body of the deceased youth with a sharp weapon, the angry family and villagers sat on a dharna with the body on the cement factory road from Mandi Chauraha all night on Wednesday demanding the arrest of the unknown murderers. On Thursday morning, after the rain, on persuasion, the body of the deceased was kept in the Ras hospital mortuary at around 11:30 am. Outside the Ras hospital mortuary and in the hospital premises, a large number of villagers along with the family sat on a dharna outside the mortuary demanding the arrest of the unknown murderers. The dharna continued till the time of writing the news at 5:30 pm.
The police officers advised
Beawar ASP Himanshu Jangid and Beawar Deputy Rajesh Kasana held talks with the intellectuals of the Gurjar community including Devkaran Gurjar, former Sarpanch Dayalram Gurjar for reconciliation, but the Gurjar community is demanding the arrest of the murderers of Kheda resident Mandrup Gurjar. The dead body has been kept in the Ras Hospital mortuary since morning. Under the direction of Beawar SP Narendra Singh, under the supervision of ASP Jangid, seven teams of Beawar Deputy Kasana, Jaitaran Deputy ASP Vijay Singh, Ras Police Station Officer Hukmgiri along with the police are engaged in searching for the murderers.
Protested by sitting under tarpaulin in the rain
On Wednesday night, the family and the villagers sat with the body on the road from Mandi Chowk to Cement Factory demanding the arrest of the murderers. When it started raining on Thursday morning, the protesters covered the body with a tarpaulin to protect it from the rain and sat with the body. The body started stinking. After persuasion, the body was kept in the Ras Hospital mortuary.
The route was diverted in the morning
Due to the blockade from Mandi Square to the cement factory road from night to morning, the vehicles going to and coming from the cement factories were stopped. Due to this, a long queue of vehicles was formed on the road. Due to this, on Thursday morning, passenger vehicles on the Beawar-Babra-Ras-Medta road passed through Babara to Ramgarh-Bichiabala road and went towards Ras via Ajmer district’s Karnos-Ras-Mangaliyawas road.
