A case has been registered in the women’s police station regarding this entire incident and now this case is being strengthened further. The chairman of the child welfare committee has written a letter to the police regarding this and on the basis of this letter, the scope of investigation is now being expanded.

Actually, a woman from Maharashtra and her three daughters live in the Kotwali area. A man from Haryana is living in a live-in relationship with her. He too has two sons. It is being said that all of them live in the same house. The girl who was assaulted is about 15 years old. She told the police that when she was at home on 14th June, her mother’s lover tried to rape her and when she refused, he poured hot oil in her private parts. After that, he kept her locked in a room for two days. After two days, her mother took her to the hospital and got her treated.
The girl alleges that she was beaten again on June 30 and this time she ran away. When she met traffic policemen on the road, she told them her story. The policemen sent the girl to the Kotwali police station. The Kotwali police took the girl’s complaint and left her at the Sakhi Kendra. From there she went to the Child Welfare Committee. There she told the chairperson that an attempt was made to rape her and when she refused, hot oil was poured on her. She told the entire incident of the family to the Child Welfare Committee chairperson. She sent a letter to the women’s police station on Wednesday and on the basis of this letter, the women’s police station has now started investigation into cases including assault and POCSO.
