Sriganganagar : 60 years of establishment of BSF are being completed on 1st December. Various programs are being organized by Anupgarh BSF regarding the 60th anniversary. Today on Saturday, a cycle rally was organized by the soldiers of Anupgarh BSF to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the foundation day of BSF. This cycle rally passed through various routes of Anupgarh. The cycle rally taken out by BSF soldiers was started by Second Commandant Jagbir Singh Badwar. He told that tomorrow on the occasion of World Foundation Day, Camel ride will also be organized on the border.
Second Commanded Jagbir Singh Badwar said that BSF was established on 1 December 1965. Every year 1st December is celebrated as Raising Day by BSF. This year also the Foundation Day is being celebrated with great enthusiasm by the BSF soldiers.
He told – Earlier on 29th November, a program for women empowerment was also organized. In this program, women living in BSF campus were given information about their rights. Today, on 30th November, on the occasion of Foundation Day, a cycle rally has also been organized by BSF soldiers. During the cycle rally, the soldiers encouraged the youth and children to join the army.
